About The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a Vendor Manager to join Programmed’s Facility Management Team. Reporting into the Compliance & Governance Manager, this integral role will be responsible for supporting our operations teams through on boarding of new vendors (suppliers and subcontractors) as well as the management of vendor documentation and the vendor database. With a focus on understanding and ensuring contract KPIs are met, you will support our NSW & ACT contracts in the procurement of goods and services.
As the Vendor Manager you will be working with our operations teams to ensure that we use the right vendors who meet our health, safety, and environment requirements and demonstrate that they are proactively working to continuously improve their service to us and therefore our customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Vendor compliance management across the portfolio, seeking efficiencies through consolidation, improving pricing, or added value
- Assist Operations with provision of data for Vendor performance reviews
- Collaborate with Operations team in training and onboarding all Vendors
- Support contract procurement activities, including participation in the RFx process and evaluation of Vendors
- Work closely with Group Procurement in meeting requirements
- Maintain and update Vendor Management System
About You
- Experience in managing the on-boarding of sub-contractors and suppliers
- Procurement experience within a service-related industry or construction
- Strong customer service and administration skills and experience
- Experience in the facilities administration/ help desk related activities
- Strong organizational capabilities with attention to accuracy and detail
- A strong customer focus and an ability to build strong customer relationships
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- An ability to work autonomously within a team environment
