About The Opportunity

Programmed is offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate Horticulturalist to join our dedicated team maintaining the stunning grounds of Crown Perth.

This isn’t just another gardening role, it’s your chance to work in one of Perth’s most picturesque parklands, where your work contributes directly to the beauty and vibrancy of a landmark location enjoyed by locals and tourists.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering long-term stability, ongoing development, and the chance to be part of a supportive, close-knit team. You'll work Monday to Friday, with optional overtime available on weekends.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform weed and pest control through spraying and manual weeding.
  • Undertake all horticultural activities, including formative pruning and hedging of trees and shrubs.
  • Implement mulching and planting programs.
  • Use commercial small plant horticultural equipment.
  • Report all assets using technology at each scheduled maintenance visit.
  • Ensure sites are maintained and presented to a high standard.
  • Comply with all occupational health and safety processes and procedures

 

About You

  • Certificate II or III in Horticulture (Essential) 
  • A Current Driver’s license
  • Experience in operating a range of mowers, and small plant equipment
  • The ability to execute work to a high standard.
  • A clear commitment and understanding of Quality and Health, Safety and Environment systems
