The Role:

We are seeking a driven Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment processes, building strong talent pipelines, and creating new sales opportunities to meet our business objectives. You will have the opportunity to work with large national clients and small to medium clients that value quality, safety, and efficiency. This is a dynamic role where you'll be responsible for managing a workforce that operates in fast-paced and challenging environments, including working closely with employees and site managers to ensure smooth and effective operations.

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment (360), from job intake to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Drive new sales opportunities through proactive business development strategies, generating leads, and closing new clients.
  • Directly source candidates through headhunting, networking, and using innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to hiring managers on recruitment strategies, market trends, and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Effectively manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Travel to client sites throughout Victoria.
  • Ensure all placements meet industry regulations & safety standards, with regular toolbox and safety conversations with employee.


What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previous recruitment experience (desireable) 
  • Trades industry knowledge (desireable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Energy and passion to achieve in an autonomous business role
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
