About The Opportunity
Programmed Facility Management (PFM) is currently seeking an experienced Asset Data & Systems Analyst to join our Strategic Asset Management Team. The role of Asset Data & Systems Analyst reports to the Strategic (Reliability) Asset Manager with remit across Australia and New Zealand. The Strategic Asset Management (SAM) team is part of PFM Business Integrity.
This integral role will provide you with the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of Operational Contracts within a supportive and collaborative environment that delivers asset management excellence and enables data-driven decision making and digital transformation in line with ISO 55001 standards.
In this role, you will work on reviewing and continuously improving asset data quality by collaborating with operational teams, undertaking asset data and work order analysis, generating insights from asset data, and leading rectification planning to support our enterprise-wide asset management excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse asset and work order data to identify trends, gaps, and anomalies, enabling data-driven decision making

Generate actionable insights from asset data to inform planning, risk mitigation, and asset lifecycle management strategies

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualisations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL

Validate asset data integrity across contracts and systems to ensure alignment with ISO 55001 requirements and PFM Asset Information Strategy

Collaborate with Operational Contracts to support asset register refinement, data cleansing, and system improvement initiatives

Provide technical support and guidance for asset data uploads to CMMS, during asset data migration and implementation of new digital platforms

Contribute to the ongoing development of data governance processes, asset classification frameworks, and reporting templates

Assist in embedding continuous improvement initiatives for asset management systems, processes, and data structures
- Review, evaluate and test new technology solutions and determine suitability for PFM operations
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in asset data analysis and CMMS/asset system implementation and a natural ability to collaborate across functions, with strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Proven experience with CMMS/EAM platforms (e.g., Maximo or similar) and asset data structures
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret large datasets to generate insights and inform decisions
- Experience in asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning, or ISO 55001-aligned systems
- Understanding of data governance principles and asset classification frameworks (e.g., Uniclass, VBIS)
- Strong communication and documentation skills to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders
