The Role
Join our high performing sales team who are dedicated to growing our commercial painting and remedial business, and cross-selling other property services into existing customers. We currently have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Albury-Wodonga.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will identify and drive NEW business opportunities across all markets within North East Victoria & Southern New South Wales - initiating contact with key decision makers, and building strong relationships and commercial solutions to secure the business.
Our Business Development Manager’s drive sales growth by selling high value long term contracts. The role requires you to develop and write and present persuading proposals and bids and the sales process at times is complex, with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders. Experience in similar selling environments would be advantageous.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in building and remedial is an advantage.
- You must be driven to succeed, results focused and perform to your best consistently.
- Be able to confidently articulate customised solutions to Executive Teams or Top Administrators
- Have a desire to maximise results for customers, by identifying their needs and wants and when necessary, have a flair for outside the box solutions.
- Are successful at consistently sourcing and developing prospects into long standing customers
- Ability to maintain a strong and profitable sales pipeline
- Proficient in cross selling, negotiation and closing deals
- Have excellent influencing, communication & presentation skills.
- Strong background in CRM, forecasting, tendering and estimating.
You will be accountable for delivering on target sales results and KPI’s quarterly.
