West Region Delivery Team have been engaged by Sydney Water to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facility management services for ten (10) years across Sydney Water’s wastewater, water and recycled water systems. Programmed is one of the JV partners within The West Region Delivery Team.


The Role

We have a new full-time opportunity for an Asset and Performance Manager who will be responsible for the development of strategies, processes and audit programs to increase the accuracy and efficiency of asset data capture, asset tracking and asset performance.

The role supports the Service Delivery team to monitor and measure the reliability and performance of assets so as to ensure their performance meets design specifications, achieves target performance, and are maintained in alignment with best practice.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Maintenance business unit leaders, ensuring the timely flow of quality operational, performance reporting and data analytics
  • Maintain data and conduct data analysis aligned with business operational objectives
  • Provide recommendations for improving maintenance procedures, optimising schedules and resource allocation.
  • Support the team in implementing recommended changes, monitoring effectiveness of maintenance strategies. 
  • Work with the Service Delivery teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement those improvements, measuring the effectiveness and value generated.
  • Monitor Asset Performance dashboard and KPI performance across the Service Delivery portfolio to highlight improvement opportunities, waste or developing risks
  • Develop, in conjunction with operational leads the Annual Integrated Works Programme and track activity in line with approved budgets


Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Operational M&E environment.
  • Reliability experience
  • Qualifications and/or hands-on experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication skills, and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy in business based applications like Maximo, SAP is highly desirable
