About The Opportunity
Programmed Facility Management are seeking an experienced / hands on Village Coordinator / Utility all-rounder to join our Village Management Team to oversee daily camp operations and provide hands-on support across multiple areas. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the village. Delivering high standards of service, cleanliness, and compliance with site procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides soft services such as Village Management, Catering, Transport, Cleaning and Utility services to a well-known Mining Company situated in the west of North Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
The Village Coordinator / Utility All-rounder is responsible for the successful management of day-to-day operations of the Village, ensuring that all facilities are always operating to a high standard of quality. In addition to your administrative duties, you will be expected to provide hands-on assistance across other areas of the village as needed. Areas such as the Administrative team, cleaning team, Aerodrome Supervisors and Bus Drivers, ensuring daily inspecting, reporting, and monitoring of grounds, vehicle and airside environment is compliant. Ad hoc support for the Village Manager is occasionally required and assisting in other departments from time to time.
Duties include:
- Carry out utility duties including housekeeping, kitchenhand, mine site cleaning, and general maintenance Ensure that the designated work, service and living areas are held to a high standard of cleanliness - Follow Cleaning Policies and Procedures
- Coordinate accommodation allocation and maintain camp occupancy records
- Assist with stock control and ordering of supplies
- Achieve completion targets within allocated timeframes, respond to timely ad-hoc cleaning requests
- Stripping and making beds, removing, and replacing linen/towels, cleaning ensuites and all ablutions
- Occasional Transportation of Residents to / from Minesite
- Appropriate use and storage of chemicals
- Keeping daily logs and records of all workorders completed
- Ensuring compliance with Australian standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act
About You

Additionally, you will provide first-class customer service whilst maintaining a commitment to the safety of yourself, and others, at all times.
Additionally, you will possess:
- Australian Working Rights
- VALID C Class License (mandatory)
- VALID HR, MR, PTD Bus Licence (mandatory)
- Ability to pass comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening (mandatory)
- Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months) (mandatory)
- Construction White Card (desirable)
- Working at Heights (desirable)
- The following experience / qualifications with First Aid, Hospitality, HR License, PDT Authorisation, HRWL (LF), RSA / Approved Manager and Cleaning
Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:
- Basic Systems and Technology experience i.e., MS Office, online/web-based Workorder Management Software and Safety, Payroll & Training requirements,
- Ability to work in a Team; be a self-motivator and take instructions.
- Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills.
- Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others, at all times.
