About The Opportunity
Programmed are currently seeking Open Space Supervisors to join teams in the Perth metro area.
In these positions, you will be responsible for the onsite implementation of Horticultural and or Turf maintenance programs. The roles involve project planning, work scheduling, on-site supervision of employees and contractors and auditing the delivery of work on time with quality outcomes in a cost-effective and safe manner for customers.
These are permanent, full-time positions offering long-term stability, ongoing development, and the chance to be part of a supportive, close-knit team. You'll work Monday to Friday, with optional overtime occasionally offered.
Key Responsibilities
- Project planning and forecasting
- People management and on-site supervision of employees and contractors
- Driving the operations from the front and managing the Open Space as your own
- Auditing and inspecting the delivery of works as well as equipment and tools
About You
To join our team, you will need to have demonstrated experience in team leadership or supervision of grounds maintenance employees, alongside a strong commitment to Programmed’s values.
Additionally, you will need to have:
- Qualifications in Horticulture or Sports Turf Management respectively
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A clear commitment and understanding of Quality and Health, Safety and Environment systems
- Ability to pass police clearance and full medical including D&A screening
- WHS General Induction for Construction (White Card)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Any further tickets, trade qualifications or licenses such as Pest Management, Traffic Management or First Aid would be advantageous
