About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Coordinator to join our Procurement team based in Burswood, Perth. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a knowledgeable and supportive team within a large, well-established business.
In this role, you will develop tenders and quote requests for medium—to high-value projects for predominantly local and state government clients. The position is responsible for seeing the tenders through to evaluation, recommendation and award. As the primary point of contact for you will work closely with internal stakeholders, the client and external vendor market to provide a seamless and professional experience.

Reporting Line: Procurement Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop low to high risk or value contracts, through preparing tender documents, facilitating evaluation and contract formation in consultation with stakeholders and Vendors
- Release RFX packages to the market through the approved electronic tender portal
- Respond to vendor queries in collaboration with internal technical stakeholders
- Draft and issue clarifications and addenda for RFX documents
- Book evaluation meetings based on agreed dates with Evaluation Panel members
- Facilitate evaluation scoring and discussion processes, based on established evaluation scales
- Prepare evaluation and recommendation reports, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and process transparency
- Facilitate the award of the contract and handover to the Operational team for post-award activity
- Advise on the suitability and application of exemptions from the relevant process
About you
To excel in this position, you will have previous experience in the coordination of procurement activities with medium to high-risk or value processes, preferably within state government contracts. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Experience with the preparation of procurement documentation with the construction or facility maintenance industries
- Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle, tender regulations, evaluation processes and probity principles
- General understanding of contract law and commercial terms and conditions
- Familiarity with electronic procurement platforms such as TendersWA, eProcure & Tenderlink
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- A team player with a can-do attitude and a collaborative relationship builder
- Proven track record of ability to interact with key stakeholders in a highly effective manner
- Strong organisational capabilities with attention to accuracy and detail
