The Role

The Grounds Maintenance Operative is a multi-disciplinary, non-technical Tradesperson. You will provide the following services:

  • Mowing
  • Chemical spraying
  • Cleaning
  • Graffiti removal

We currently have one of these possibilities in Waikato Region, based from Te Rapa depot, working in a mobile crew on a range of sites.

 

Skills and Experience

The role involves a variety of work, and you must possess the following in order to be considered:

  • Experienced ride-on mower operator 
  • Push-mowing, trimming & edging
  • Ideally have spraying and chemical handling experience
  • Ability to drive with, and back, a trailer
  • You are expected to be reliable, motivated and driven
  • Hold a current full driver’s license 
  • Proof of NZ right to work
  • Embrace Health & Safety safe work practices
  • Pass Drug, Alcohol and Police checks
