About The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeping Team Lead, on Western Australia’s iconic tourist destination, Rottnest Island. In this position, you’ll work side-by-side with our housekeeping staff, supporting daily operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and public areas.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and support the housekeeping team during daily operations
  • Coordinate room allocations and workflow in the field
  • Ensure all areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Conduct spot checks and report maintenance issues
  • Take pride in turn over rooms, refreshing common areas, spotting and paying attention to the little details that make a big impact.
  • Promote a positive, guest-focused, and safety-first team culture

 

About You

You take pride in your work, lead by example, and bring energy and professionalism to each shift. You're confident in making decisions in a fast-paced environment and enjoy motivating those around you.

You’ll also bring:

  • Previous housekeeping experience (essential)
  • Proven leadership or team coordination experience (housekeeping or cleaning background desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and a hands-on work ethic
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Other requirements include:

  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
  • A valid WA Driver’s Licence
