About The Opportunity

Programmed’s Facility Management department are currently seeking an Architectural Graduate or VBA Registered Building Designer to join our ARBV registered Architect Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our high-performance team that is responsible for delivering end-to-end Greenfield & Brownfield projects across our contracts in Victoria. Working with our Education and Government partners, we design and document award winning buildings that are pillars for the local community such as health, education, and sporting developments.  

Nature of the position: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Located at our Docklands HQ and with Work from Home opportunities

Key Responsibilities

• Support and deliver architectural design across major and minor works projects at recognised project phases
• Liaise with supporting consultants for the development of construction documentation
• Revit based documentation and 3D modelling of buildings and internal fit outs including development of our Digital Engineering approach
• Material specifications and selection
• Obtain information for service authorities
• Conduct site visits and project meetings

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be a registered Architect with a passion for building design and delivery, a keen eye for detail and experience in all aspects of building project design. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

• Hold a relevant Architectural Qualification or be registered with the VBA as a Building Designer
• Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in architectural or design practice, with a focus on working drawings.
• Strong Autodesk Revit experience essential with BIM exposure
• Strong knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and relevant standards.
• Proficient in detailed construction documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated ability to organize and plan, and to meet rigid and conflicting demands and deadlines, along with the ability to adapt to changed priorities
• Work as a team player
• Adhere to and promote company standards including OH&S and quality
