About The Opportunity

Programmed’s Facility Management department are currently seeking a Carpenter to join our Maintenace Team. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team that provides reactive, proactive and general maintenance throughout the facilities. This position is responsible for providing direction on and assisting in the delivery of the daily operations of building works on nominated customer sites.

Nature of the position:

As a mobile Maintenance Carpenter, you will travel in your company supplied car to client sites completing remedial and renovation work on interior and exterior items such as doors, gyprock, locks mechanisms, cabinetry, tiling, painting, paving, other. You will be working on Residential Sites.

This role is based across Port Stephens and Maitland

  • Repair counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, doors, building frameworks and trims.
  • Carrying out paintwork, tiling, replacing locks and many other functions.
  • Administrative tasks - Uploading the delivery and completion of all job

Location: Port Stephens/ Maitland/ Hunter Regions 

Reporting Line: Supervisor

About You

To join our team, you will have proven industry experience, preferably on domestic/residential housing sites, a ‘can-do’ attitude and a passion for quality work. Additionally, you will have:

  • A trade qualification in Carpentry/Joinery
  • Current driver's license & white card
  • Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
  • Execute work that is of a high standard
  • A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems
    *Preferred First Aid and Working at Heights but not essential as this can be provided upon employment
