About the Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive Bid Writer to contribute to high value and strategic opportunities for our Facility Management business unit in Australia and New Zealand. Reporting directly to the Manager Bid Development, this permanent full-time role offers the opportunity to combine creativity and commercial insight as we pursue new markets and growth.

Working closely with our sales and strategy team, you'll play a key role in crafting well-structured, persuasive content that brings our solutions to life. Unlike fast-paced, transactional bids, our proposals often span months, giving you the time and space to immerse yourself in the process, collaborate with stakeholders, and shape solutions that make a meaningful impact.

You don’t need to be an experienced bid writer to thrive in this role. We also welcome articulate professionals from backgrounds in sales, marketing, communications, or related fields who have strong writing skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Actively contributing to winning key contracts in Australia and New Zealand, supporting the end-to-end bid development process
  • Contributing to tender response development and adding value throughout the process
  • Being creative in solution development and articulation
  • Engaging with stakeholders during all tender stages to deliver a professional outcome
  • Building and maintaining relationships to add value through the tender phase.

About You

You are a confident communicator and exceptional writer, able to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content. While experience in bids or tender writing is highly regarded, we also encourage applications from those with strong commercial acumen and professional writing experience - particularly from sales or marketing environments.

You’ll be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, managing competing deadlines, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team.

You will bring:

  • Outstanding written communication skills and the ability to tell a clear, compelling story
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with a variety of stakeholders
  • A willingness to challenge ideas and think creatively
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management capabilities
  • Outstanding proficiency with Microsoft Word
  • Cultural alignment with our core values: Safety Leadership, Care & Empathy, Customer Service, and Diversity, Inclusion & Equality.

We value a supportive environment from the top down and we work as one. We pull together when needed, we recognise great contributions, and we share successes just as we do the hurdles that we face.
