About The Opportunity
Programmed’s Facility Management department are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our Support Service Function for Queensland & National Contracts. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a high-performance team that is responsible for the effective execution of all maintenance work control processes in particular to the efficient and effective use of planning and scheduling all resources to conduct maintenance activities.
In this role, you will be empowered to manage work priorities, develop job plans, define scope and specifications, procure works within state supply commission guidelines, local government procurement requirements and develop a safe, effective and efficient work control plan.
Nature of the position: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Brisbane
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to administrative and support processes in alignment with PFM quality systems and procedures
- Establish, manage, and update scheduled maintenance plans in accordance with contractual requirements
- Analyze maintenance and performance data to identify trends, highlight underperformance, and develop corrective action strategies
- Validate, prioritize, and monitor the accuracy of all planned job activities
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services
- Inform job planning, resource allocation, and rostering to optimize workforce utilization
- Support operational teams in scheduling works to meet contractual obligations and resource availability, ensuring all activities align with agreed service levels
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, service providers, and vendors to ensure smooth delivery of maintenance services
- Prepare and present monthly performance reports and analysis in line with reporting frameworks and contract obligations
About You
To join our team, ideally, you will have experience in a previous planning role. Additionally, you will have:
- Relevant qualifications in Asset Management or Trade Certificate would be highly advantageous
- Previous planning experience in facilities management will be highly advantageous
- Acute attention to detail and exceptional organization skills
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement ability
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with CMMS platforms such as IBO Maximo & Touchstone would be highly regarded
