About The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our Strategic Asset Management Team within Programmed’s Facility Management division. Reporting to the Asset and Maintenance Planning Manager, you will play a key role in delivering Programmed Facility Management (PFM) services through the successful implementation of planned maintenance and scheduling. You’ll ensure service specifications are delivered safely, on time, and profitably, in line with client expectations and contractual obligations.

In this role, you will be empowered to manage work priorities, develop job plans, define scope and specifications, and develop safe, effective, and efficient work control plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of planned maintenance activities, adhering to Australian Standards, industry best practices, statutory requirements, contractual scopes and HSE obligations
  • Ensure adherence to administrative and support processes in alignment with PFM quality systems and procedures
  • Analyse maintenance and performance data to identify trends, highlight underperformance, and develop corrective action strategies
  • Validate, prioritise, and monitor the accuracy of all planned job activities
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services
  • Support operational teams in scheduling works to meet contractual obligations, ensuring all activities align with agreed service levels
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, service providers, and vendors to ensure smooth delivery of maintenance services

 

About You

To join our team, ideally, you will have experience in a previous planning role. Additionally, you will have:

  • Facilities and/or Asset Management Planning, Engineering, or Trade qualifications (preferred).
  • Experience in facilities management, asset management, or other building service-related industries.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with acute attention to detail.
  • A customer-first mindset. Approachable, adaptable, and positive under pressure.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement ability
  • Experience in using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
