About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Scheduler to join our team, responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities for a key facility management contract. This includes creating efficient schedules, optimising resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with service delivery standards for strategic asset management, digital engineering, and maintenance services.

This permanent, full-time role is based in Gatton (QLD) and will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and ensuring alignment with contractual, financial, and safety requirements.

Through exceptional scheduling and coordination, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules to optimise resource utilisation and minimse downtime.
  • Coordinate planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance activities, ensuring timely execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to align schedules with operational needs.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance progress, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance scheduling accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy within maintenance management systems and maintain comprehensive records.
  • Contribute to the integration of digital engineering solutions to streamline scheduling and reporting.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven background in maintenance planning or scheduling within facility management or a related industry. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a keen eye for detail.

Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

  • Experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
  • A sound understanding of maintenance processes and best practices.
