About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an energetic and focused Service Delivery Manager to join our Operations team based in Orange, NSW.

In this role, you will play an integral part in delivering services on the Homes NSW contract, supporting community housing for vulnerable members of the community. This is a rare chance to step into a meaningful, purpose‑driven role, where your work directly contributes to improving the lives and living conditions of people who rely on safe, stable housing.

Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the consistent and timely delivery of operational outcomes and service level agreements. You will manage outsourced suppliers and third-party contracts while driving significant and complex service improvements across our client base.

You will be accountable for ensuring high-quality support services are delivered across Programmed Facility Management (PFM) contracts through the effective management and control of Service Delivery functions. You will also ensure all service delivery activities are completed accurately and on time to support contractual SLAs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement significant and complex service improvements across the client portfolio
  • Develop and implement processes to improve cost efficiency and service delivery outcomes
  • Foster a positive, learning-focused culture that encourages development and progression
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee and ensure the timely resolution of operational issues
  • Provide regular reporting and performance feedback to the Contract Manager
  • Work closely with the National Contact Centre team
  • Manage customer expectations through frequent, accurate and timely communication
  • Act with integrity in all client interactions, ensuring commitments are met
  • Drive operational excellence to maximise customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional work

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience within the trades, services or facilities management industries, ideally with site supervision or management exposure. You will also demonstrate:

  • Trade qualification/background (preferred)
  • Proven experience in Facilities Management, trades or building services environments
  • Strong understanding of SLAs, KPIs and contract management
  • Experience preparing and delivering reports
  • Proven supervisory or leadership experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across systems, tools and stakeholders
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask across multiple systems, tools and processes
  • Well-developed Microsoft Office skills
