About The Opportunity
Programmed’s Facility Management department is seeking a Qualified Electrician to join our Housing NSW Operations Team on a full-time basis. This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team delivering reactive, preventative, and general electrical maintenance across government housing properties.
The position is based in Griffith and will involve travel to regional towns, with occasional overnight stays.
Your first week will be spent at our Parramatta office completing inductions and training. Accommodation and expenses will be covered, and you’ll work alongside experienced Programmed tradespeople to ensure you’re set up for success.
While you will bring your electrical trade expertise to the role, much of your day-to-day work will involve hands-on maintenance tasks. This includes preventative and reactive electrical work, switchboard servicing, thermographic imaging, and ensuring electrical safety and compliance across properties.
About You
To join our team, ideally you will have previous experience on major commercial or industrial sites, with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have;
- Cert III in Electrotechnology
- A Grade Electrical license
- Current driver's license & white card preferred
- Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
- Execute work that is of a high standard
- A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems
