The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated HSEQ Coordinator to join our team based in Singleton NSW.

Reporting to the Energy and Resources National HSEQ Manager and NSW General Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting our team in the application of our core HSEQ management processes.  You will also be leading client/site risk engagements, influencing HSEQ outcomes with clients and field employees and leading investigations to determine root causes and establish corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Strong communication (written and verbal), leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage site teams
  • Ability to work as part of a cooperative team & willingness to assist others
  • Previous HSEQ experience supporting operations
  • An understanding of injury management and rehabilitation processes
  • Solid knowledge of relevant Act and Regulations, Codes, best practice and Workers Compensation
  • Flexibility with working hours during a 38 hour week.
  • Health & Safety qualifications to successfully lead in this role

 
Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and influencing positive HSEQ outcomes to issues and conflicts
  • Providing HSEQ field leadership and interaction with our employees and clients
  • Lead incident investigation and the implementation of risk controls
  • Providing HSEQ support through tender responses
  • Support teams being internal or externally audited
  • Collating HSEQ information and reporting on the data at regular intervals
  • Providing support with the implementation of HSEQ Management and Client Site Plans
