The Role

We currently require a highly driven and focused Workforce Planning Manager to join our Resourcing team based in Burswood.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in our fast paced and dynamic industry. Working with a team of experienced professionals, this role will enable you to further develop your skills within a vast array of industry sectors, recruiting for a wide variety of job types.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate workforce planning, scheduling, and administration to support workforce continuity
  • Forecasting workforce requirements and maintaining internal scheduling systems.
  • Provide timely and professional support to internal teams and clients, including availability forecasts.
  • Ensure clear communication between cross-functional teams (operations, compliance, recruitment, etc.).
  • Engage with stakeholders to define job requirements and timelines, addressing any challenges impacting
  • Report on resource levels, providing alternative solutions and revised timelines when delays occur.
  • Collaborate across business units, exemplifying core values and supporting change management
  • Assisting in the ongoing building of the planning system as we make it more efficient across the business for all departments.
  • Organise travel, site access and compliance for all personnel mobilising to any given site if the Onboarding Coordinator requires additional support

 

Skills and experience

In order to thrive in this position the following attributes are highly valued:

  • Experience as a Workforce Planning or Snr Resource/Mobilisation Advisor
  • Experience in establishing a mobilisation process and frameworks
  • Experience in managing the planning and coordinating of large high-volume mobilisations, ideally with major resourcing clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel experience required).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • A pro-active approach to resolving issues and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
