About The Opportunity

Programmed Electrical Technologies has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Audio-Visual Technician to join our team. The role is based in the Sydney CBD for a prestigious client. This embedded onsite role is responsible for the day‑to‑day operational support, stability, and lifecycle management of their audiovisual and collaboration environments.

Reporting to the Service Division Manager, this pivotal role will ensure that meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and integrated AV systems remain reliable, secure, and operational, while acting as the critical link between the clients stakeholders, Programmed service teams, and project delivery functions.

Location: Sydney, CBD

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and AV‑enabled environments.
• Provide hands‑on support for AV and video conferencing, supporting meetings end‑to‑end.
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve AV incidents in accordance with service agreements.
• Escalate incidents beyond the on-site scope in line with service management processes.
• Conduct proactive checks of meeting rooms and AV assets to maintain operational readiness.
• Support AV project handover into service, asset management, and compliance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Audio Visual professional with a drive to provide excellent service. Previous commissioning experience will be highly regarded. Additionally, you will possess;

• Qualification in Audio Visual, Information Technology or Communications is desirable
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• A passion to provide and execute high-quality work at all times
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work autonomously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems. 
• Great emphasis fostering long term account relationships that build on continued growth with a customer.
