About the Opportunity

Programmed’s Electrical Technologies department is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Accounts Team, based at our Collins Street office.

You’ll be part of an established and supportive team responsible for delivering accurate and timely revenue processes, working collaboratively out of a shared inbox. This full-time position offers the opportunity to join a stable, close‑knit team and play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations, strong customer relationships and well‑maintained business records.

 

Key Responsibilities

  •  Manage and action incoming tasks and queries within a shared accounts mailbox.
  • Raise customer invoices and follow up on outstanding invoices, including cash allocations and phone‑based collections.
  • Support end‑of‑month processes, including ledger updates and reporting.
  • Conduct credit verification checks.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to improvements in AR processes.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll be an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer who brings strong financial processing capability and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines. You will also demonstrate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional organisation and time‑management abilities.
  • Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with D365 and Neovision (highly regarded)
