About The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity now exists for an Asset Engineer to join Programmed Facility Management as part of the West Region Delivery Team supporting the high-profile Sydney Water contract.
Working at the intersection of data, operations and maintenance, and strategy, this role will support the Service Delivery team to monitor and measure the reliability and performance of assets. You will ensure assets meet KPIs and design specifications, are maintained according to best practice, and are accurately captured and tracked.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a large-scale essential services contract, where you will play a key role in driving performance insights, improving asset reliability, and supporting strategic decision-making across a complex asset network.

Location: Greater Western Sydney
Reporting Line: Asset and Performance Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis across end-to-end maintenance delivery, from analysis through to client engagement and outcomes
- Translate data into clear advice and practical decisions for clients and internal teams
- Support the Service Delivery team in implementing strategies, processes, and audit programs to enhance asset data capture, tracking, and KPI reporting
- Collaborate across internal and client teams on initiatives including operational readiness, reliability engineering, and productivity improvement
- Work with the Asset and Performance Manager to track asset performance, develop insights, and support the Integrated Works Program
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance data processes, reporting frameworks, and ensure data integrity
About You
- A degree in Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in data analysis, business analytics, and performance reporting
- Experience across the asset or project lifecycle within utilities or infrastructure is highly regarded
- Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated experience with Power BI and asset management systems
- Familiarity with systems such as Maximo or SAP is highly desirable
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable outcomes
