Programmed Facility Management is seeking experienced Kitchen Utilities to join our team at Carlindi, supporting our valued client, PLS.

The Opportunity
As a Kitchen Utility, you'll play an important role in supporting the kitchen team and maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards that underpin a successful village operation.
This is a physically demanding and fast paced role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with chefs and catering teams to ensure kitchens, dining facilities and food preparation areas remain clean, safe and operational.
Your contribution will help deliver a positive experience for the hundreds of residents who call the village home while working away.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
- Wash, sanitise and store kitchen equipment, utensils and cookware
- Support kitchen teams with basic food preparation and service tasks
- Maintain clean and organised kitchen, dining and food service areas
- Assist with stock rotation, storage and labelling processes
- Handle waste management and cleaning chemicals safely and correctly
- Support compliance with HACCP and food safety requirements
- Identify and report equipment faults or maintenance concerns
- Work collaboratively with the wider catering team to ensure smooth daily operations
About You
You're an experienced FIFO Kitchen Utility who understands the importance of teamwork, reliability and maintaining high standards in a busy village environment.
You enjoy working as part of a close knit team, take pride in your work and are comfortable in a role that is physically active, fast-paced and hands-on.
You Will Have
- Previous FIFO Kitchen Utility experience (essential)
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Ability to work effectively within a high-volume catering environment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining standards
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
- Ability to follow procedures and work safely at all times
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Requirements
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Current National Police Clearance (issued within the last three months)
- Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
