The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our Open Space team based in Darwin.
This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in maintaining, repairing, upgrading, and installing commercial and residential irrigation systems across a range of exciting projects.
Working alongside a dedicated team, you will help ensure our clients’ landscapes and open spaces remain healthy, functional, and maintained to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, repair and upgrade irrigation systems
- Complete irrigation installations, modifications and replacements
- Diagnose faults across pumps, controllers, valves, pipework and irrigation components
- Ensure irrigation systems operate efficiently and meet client requirements
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and clients
- Complete works safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as an irrigation technician or similar trade role
- Strong knowledge of commercial irrigation systems and maintenance practices
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a positive team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A commitment to workplace health, safety, environment and quality standards
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to use digital work systems
- Ability to undertake a pre employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
A relevant trade qualification, irrigation certification or experience in commercial landscaping environments will be highly regarded.
