About the Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a Qualified Horticulturalist to join Programmed’s Grounds Maintenance team in Rosebud. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a stable, long-term role where you can take real pride in your work, build your expertise, and make a visible impact on a well-maintained, high-standard site.
You’ll be joining a close-knit, supportive crew who’ve been on site for a while and really know the place inside out. It’s a team that works well together, shares the load, and takes pride in keeping the grounds looking their best. Everyone’s approachable, happy to share knowledge, and genuinely backs each other to get the job done right.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position, offering long-term stability, ongoing development, and the opportunity to grow your career within a respected organisation.
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm, with some flexibility available.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform weed and pest control through spraying and manual weeding.
- Undertake all horticultural activities, including formative pruning and hedging of trees and shrubs.
- Implement mulching and planting programs.
- Use commercial small plant horticultural equipment.
- Report all assets using technology at each scheduled maintenance visit.
- Ensure sites are maintained and presented to a high standard.
- Comply with all occupational health and safety processes and procedures
About You
- Certificate III in Horticulture (Required)
- A Current Driver’s license
- Experience in operating a range of mowers, and small plant equipment
- The ability to execute work to a high standard.
- A clear commitment and understanding of Quality and Health, Safety and Environment systems
- Able to pass a Full medical and police clearance
