About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join Programmed’s specialist in-house recruitment function.
In this role, you will partner with hiring managers to support recruitment across our Maintenance and Corporate divisions, working across a diverse portfolio of roles across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll contribute to sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruitment delivery, while also providing practical advice to improve hiring outcomes.
Operating within a hybrid recruitment model, this role balances hands-on delivery with advisory support and strategic input. You will guide hiring managers, support recruitment across frontline to complex and leadership roles, and play a key role in building recruitment capability across the business.
This is a fast-paced and dynamic role where priorities shift, stakeholder recruitment experience varies, and success relies on strong partnering, adaptability, and the ability to navigate a complex, shared recruitment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver effective recruitment solutions.
- Support end-to-end recruitment, from attraction and sourcing through to offer and onboarding.
- Provide specialist support within a hybrid model, working across a diverse portfolio of roles from frontline to technical, professional, and business-critical positions.
- Guide and coach hiring managers on best practice, candidate assessment, and market insights.
- Develop targeted attraction strategies and engage candidates through a range of sourcing channels.
- Build talent pipelines for key, specialist, and hard-to-fill roles.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting through PageUp and other tools.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruitment processes, tools, and capability.
- Contribute to projects, campaigns, and business-led recruitment priorities as required.
- Deliver a positive candidate and hiring manager experience through clear communication and professional service.
- Strengthen internal recruitment capability by balancing delivery with business enablement.

- Confidence using ATS platforms (PageUp experience highly regarded) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Insights, and SEEK Talent/Analytics would be advantageous, but not essential.
