Programmed Energy & Resources is currently seeking qualified Plant Fitters to join our team in a full-time position at a major Power Station in the Hunter Valley. The Role
We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Plant Maintenance Fitter to join our team based in Muswellbrook!
Reporting to the Site Managers, this role is responsible for carrying out maintenance activities within a Power Station environment while working alongside an experienced and safety-focused team.
Key responsibilities
- Full-time position based at a Power Station in the Hunter Valley
- 4-day weekday roster (Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday)
- 10-hour day shifts only – enjoy long weekends every week
- Competitive hourly rates

Skills and experience
- Trade Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical
- Current Confined Space ticket (essential)
- Working at Heights ticket (preferred)
- Previous industrial or power generation experience (highly regarded)
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
