The Role
We are currently seeking a Permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our vibrant and professional team based in Tasmania (Hobart/Launceston).
The Permanent Recruitment Consultant provides high quality outcomes to our valued customers through the delivery of successful permanent placements. This role devises innovative sourcing strategies and develops relationships with new and existing candidates whilst also building a new and existing customer base. Through the effective management of administrative tasks, people performance, and customers the role will maximise customer satisfaction and profitability.
The consultant will be required to provide first point customer service, build and manage a permanent consulting desk that may be specific to one or more industries.
This fantastic opportunity will offer a healthy pipeline and warm desk with the opportunity to build your own business within a business. Working with a team of experienced professionals, this role will enable you to further develop your skills within a vast array of industry sectors, recruiting for a wide variety of job types.
Skills and experience
In order to thrive in this position the following attributes are highly valued:
- Self-motivated and outcome oriented individual with ideally a minimum of three years’ experience in recruitment
- Have a strong desire and eagerness to be successful and achieve results through hard work and dedication, coupled with a desire to build long term relationships and gain opportunities
- Previous experience recruiting with industrial and commercial placements will be highly regarded
- Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with clients and candidates

Develop and implement specific marketing and communication strategies to
attract candidates to the brand.

Build a personal brand to attract candidates across social media channels and
sourcing tools such as LinkedIn and Facebook.
Key Responsibilities
- Generating new business through telesales of prospect and existing clients
- Visiting prospect and existing clients to promote our brand and generate placements
- Organic growth of existing client relationships

Develop and maintain a database of potential candidates for designated portfolio

Using established talent attraction and engagement processes and tools.

Develop and maintain key industry contacts. Proactive in reverse marketing of
suitable candidates to customers.
