
HVAC Technician – Wollongong
About the Role
Programmed Energy & Resources (T&C Services) is seeking a motivated, reliable and safety-focused HVAC Technician to join our Wollongong team on a permanent full-time basis.
Working across a diverse range of industrial and commercial sites, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HVAC systems. You will inspect equipment, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, and identify opportunities to improve plant reliability and performance.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated tradesperson who enjoys working both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a safety-first environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
- 4th Year Apprentices with relevant industrial experience are encouraged to apply
- Experience in industrial or commercial HVAC environments (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with ducted and split system installations and maintenance
- High Risk Work Licences or tickets (such as Elevated Work Platform, Working at Heights or Confined Space) will be highly regarded
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Availability to participate in overtime and after-hours call-out work
- A strong commitment to health, safety and environmental practices
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
