  • FIFO to Adelaide, or DIDO within SA included

The Role

Programmed Industrial Maintenance is currently seeking Supervisors to join our DIDO/FIFO Shutdown Team for mobilisation to Port Pirie South Australia.

Successful applicants will have previous heavy industrial experience, with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Proven experience working in a heavy industrial shutdown environment
  • Experience supervising up to 10 trades in heavy industrial project setting
  • Ability to DIDO to location or FIFO to South Australia (COVID regulations dependent)
  • Committed to a zero harm approach ensuring all safety milestones are met and hazards are identified, reported and remove from the work area.


Skills, Experience and Attributes

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
  • Frontline management or similar training/certification is highly regarded (not essential)
  • Current Nationally Accredited Confined Space
  • Current Nationally Accredited Working at Heights
  • Previous Supervisory mining and/or shutdown experience
  • Previous exposure to large boiler repairs
  • Previous exposure to Acid Plant operations highly regarded
  • High risk qualifications are highly regarded (Forklift, Elevated work platform, Rigging)
  • Ability to provide a clear National Police Clearance (Valid within 12-24 months)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol and prohibited substance assessment (Valid within 30 days)
  • FIFO / DIDO
  • Meals and accommodation provided. Transport to and from site provided.
  • Specific state COVID-19 regulations, in accordance with social distancing and PPE requirements, to be adhered to at all times when travelling to and from site.
  • A commitment to achieving Zero Harm.
  • Clean shaven – Fully sealed respirator required whilst on site at all times
