The Role:

Programmed is currently seeking Trade Assistants to join our Shutdown team at BHP Kwinana Nickel Refinery from the 5th September 2024 to 28th September 2024.

Successful applicants will have previous mine site or refinery experience, with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety.

What you need to know:

  • SITE - BHP Kwinana Nickel Refinery (DIDO)
  • DURATION - 5th September 2024 to 28th September 2024
  • HOURS - 12 Hour Shifts | Days & Nights Available
  • RATE
    • $45.00 Days
    • $49.50 Nights
  • Assisting mechanical fitters, boilermakers and/or painter/blasters

Skills and Experience:

  • Nationally Accredited Confined Space and Working at Heights within 5 years
  • White Card
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Forklift (LF) and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) tickets are highly regarded
  • Previous mining and/or shutdown experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
  • Ability to complete online inductions
