Programmed is currently seeking a Trade Assistant to join our onsite team in Kwinana. Successful applicants should have a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety. The role will involve but is not limited to the following duties:

  • Forklift operation. 
  • Promote and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day.
  • Responsible for the Cleanliness of Process Equipment Area.
  • Ensure all safe work systems, procedures and standards are adhered to through frequent monitoring of the processing plant by carrying our routine operating tasks and inspections of the workplace.
  • Be involved with the fault finding of fixed plant operations.
  • Communicate with Supervisors, Process Plant Controllers, Mechanical and Electrical Technicians.
  • Care and basic maintenance of fixed plant equipment.
  • Complete field leadership activities and participate in site safety program and culture.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous mining and/or refinery experience (Essential)
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
  • High Risk Forklift License (LF)
  • Gas Testing Ticket (desirable)
  • Must have a Positive Attitude and keen to learn
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
