The Role:

Programmed is currently seeking a Shutdown Supervisor with previous mining experience to join our team in our busy shutdown period September/October/November 2024.

Successful applicants will have previous mine site or refinery experience, with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety.

Skills, Experience & Attributes:

• Previous mining and/or shutdown experience
• Recent demonstrated Mechanical Supervision experience within the Mining/Minerals/Processing sectors
• Ability to deliver a high level of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction is delivered to the client
• Well organised, self-starter, with a team orientation and able to work to tight deadlines
• Well-developed communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate efficiently across multidisciplinary teams 
• High attention to detail and levels of accuracy
• Efficient computer skills
• Exposure in estimating time and resources aligned with shutdown activities
• Assist in planning and detailing materials and specialised tooling/equipment aligned with the shutdown activities
• Demonstrate experience in the fast-passed shutdown environment

Knowledge & Training:

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Engineering or Mechanical)
• Current Nationally Accredited Confined Space
• Current Nationally Accredited Working at Heights
• WHS Statutory Responsibilities for Mining Supervisors (SRMS) (or section 44)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
• 3+ years experience in a similar role
