The Role

A career in painting can provide many opportunities. Many of our leaders started off their careers in our business as a painter. It opened up a world of possibilities. 

We currently have one of these possibilities and we are looking for a Painter Foreperson with a positive "can do" attitude to lead our painting teams and support our busy Project Managers in our Invercargill Branch.

As a Painter Foreperson you are responsible for managing and budgeting all staff materials and equipment on each project.  By leading the team you will ensure the timely preparation and painting of nominated customer sites are delivered to a high quality, safely and within the budgeted parameters (hours, materials and quality) to the client’s satisfaction.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive painting experience in a commercial environment
  • A trade qualification in painting is desirable but not essential
  • A strong commitment to and understanding of OSH & E procedures and standards
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a team of employees
  • Any EWP/Working At Heights Qualifications would be favourable
