On the back of Project growth within our Sydney Water (West) team we are looking to appoint an Electrical tradesperson to work in our Major Periodic Maintenance Team.

 

The Role:

Our MPM Team are seeking to engage an Electrical Tradesperson to commence employment on our program of works across Western Sydney on critical water and wastewater infrastructure. Your role will be undertaking a variety of electrical works on small to large Projects within the MPM program.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with the monitoring, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater assets
  • Identification and repair of electrical faults
  • Installation of electrical components as per approved Scope of Works
  • Liaise with operational staff as required to ensure plant operational performance is maintained and critical process issues are diagnosed and resolved
  • Monitor and maintain electrical water and wastewater related assets
  • Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s safety, quality assurance & environmental management system.

 

What you will need:

  • Electrical Trade qualification
  • Instrumentation knowledge valued
  • Effective communication skills, influencing ability and sound decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health requirements including hazard identification
  • Blue/White Card
  • Dedication to safety and safe work practices
  • Full clean NSW driver’s licence
