About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Unified Communications (UC) Team Leader to oversee a team of technical specialists providing both on-site and remote UC services for our client.

This role reports to the National Account Manager and involves managing daily customer service operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs, maintaining asset data, and overseeing on-site staff. The Team Leader will also drive positive customer interactions and manage UC projects from concept to delivery, enhancing the customer experience for our client.

Based at our modern Collins Street head office in Docklands, VIC, this permanent full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the operations and services of a major financial institution, serving the everyday needs of businesses and individual banking customers across Australia.

Leveraging your strong communications and IT background, your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide leadership to the team, ensuring high standards in daily customer service operations.
  • Ensure customer expectations are met by accurately reporting on SLAs and KPIs.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Lead customer and client activities to optimise maintenance performance, including job planning and scheduling.
  • Oversee the execution of the service delivery plan.
  • Manage audits and continuous improvement initiatives across the contract.
  • Foster and promote a positive safety culture throughout the business.
  • Report the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to relevant stakeholders.

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need strong leadership skills and a technical background, along with contract and project management experience in UC, AV, or other IT communication systems and services within a medium-to-large enterprise environment.

Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

  • Tertiary degree in IT, business, project management or engineering preferred, however not essential.
  • ITIL foundation certification desirable, however not mandatory.
  • Technical experience with delivery and maintenance of UC solutions.
  • Highly developed communication and robust stakeholder engagement ability.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
