The Role

We currently have on of these possibilities in Hallam working in a mobile crew on arrange of sites.
Within a supportive team environment, a Maintenance Operative is responsible for caring for, maintaining and developing customer sites and associated facilities, using professional horticultural techniques in accordance with approved plans, policies and hours allocated.
About the role
This role will be responsible for renovating high profile sporting grounds and parks across multiple municipalities.
- Operating & maintain a wide range of turf mowing equipment & renovation machinery
- Preparation of a range of turf surfaces for sports
- Identify & report basic pest and disease
- Conducting renovations on both sports turf and passive turf
- Controlling weeds, preparing and applying pesticides
- Reporting
About you
- Minimum 2 years of experience in grounds and open space and/or turf management role
- Chemcert accreditation is preferred but to essential
- Certificate III in sport Turf management, preferred but not essential
- mechanically minded
- Manual drivers license
- Medium rigid endorsement preferred, but not essential
- Excellent customer service focus and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
- Strong safety, environmental, and quality focus
Successful applicants will be required to complete a pre employment police check and medical including drug and alcohol testing
