The Role
A fantastic opportunity exists for a focused and energetic self-starter to join our Central West NSW team as a Works Supervisor. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for project planning, work scheduling and on site supervision of contractors for the delivery of works on time with quality outcomes in a cost effective and safe manner.

What you'll be doing

Managing house and unit refurbishments, modifications and upgrades - works including Painting, Bathroom Renovations, Kitchen Fit Outs, Flooring & small quoted works.

Undertake a collaborative approach to subcontractor management, ensuring open and transparent communication in matters of performance, resource management, and safety culture

Manage contract KPIs and use available resources to mitigate timeliness failure.

Ensure that services are delivered in a professional and customer-centric manner which meets client satisfaction

Communicate with client stakeholders, Works co-ordination team, and Service Delivery Managers, ensuring timely and accurate submission of all requested information

Continuously review work order status and use contract mechanisms such as hold points and EOTs to mitigate contract abatement risk

Drive safety awareness and a positive culture with internal and external stakeholders

Liaise with the Service Delivery Manager to oversee the timely resolution of any defect work orders

Ensure that all compliance-based requirements are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner

Promote timely and accurate use the maintenance management system with both internal and external stakeholders
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in building trades/services or facilities management (or similar) in a supervisor, management, or planning/ scheduling position. You will have a ‘can do’ attitude, natural ability for people engagement and passion for excellent service delivery.
Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
Skills and experience
- Trade qualification(s) desirable and/or FM experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of building and construction- desirable.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with different team members, managers, senior leadership & customers.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Police clearance obtained within 6 months or willing to obtain.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
