Programmed Facility Management are seeking permanent qualified Groundpersons to join our Karratha Team. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides facility management services to a well-known Oil & Gas Company situated in the Pilbara, WA.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the permanent qualified Groundpersons are primarily responsible for general grounds upkeep of the Residential Properties and Facilities for Woodside.
Duties include:
- Ensure that the designated Grounds and Service areas are kept clean, orderly and properly maintained
- Timely response to all Grounds maintenance requests, ensuring completion within allocated timeframes
- Preparation and application and basic of weed / dieback control to lawns, gardens, landscapes and bushland/Minesite rehabilitation, including treatment of diseases and disorders
- Physical tasks, including general grounds keeping activities such as manual weeding, lawnmowing etc
- Appropriate use and storage of chemicals
- Keeping daily logs and records of all works completed
- Report all assets using technology at each scheduled maintenance visit
- Assist with green waste management across Town and Facilities
- Ensuring compliance with Policies/Procedures, Australian standards and Health (Pesticides) Regulations 2011
- Assist other departments from time to time if required

About You

Additionally, you will provide first-class customer service to the Client, whilst maintaining a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself, and others, always.
Additionally, you will possess:
- Australian Working Rights
- VALID WA C Class License (mandatory)
- Ability to pass comprehensive Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening (mandatory)
- Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months) (mandatory)
- Pesticide Technician License, or completion of Qualifications to support Endorsement 7, 8 & 9
- Construction White Card (desirable)
- Working at Heights (desirable)
- The following experience / qualifications with First Aid, Building Management & HSE Systems (desirable)
Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:
- Basic Systems and Technology experience i.e., MS Office, online/web-based Workorder Management Software and Safety, Payroll & Training requirements,
- Ability to work in a Team; be a self-motivator and take instructions.
- Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills.
- Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others, at all times.
