About The Opportunity
Programmed Facility Management are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our Port Hedland / Pilbara Team. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides maintenance services to over 18,000 public housing dwellings for the Department of Communities, including Aboriginal communities in remote locations throughout the State.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Branch Supervisor, the Maintenance Electrician is primarily responsible for general maintenance and reactive maintenance of our contract’s facilities.
Duties include:
- Complete general reactive and preventive maintenance around the facilities
- Install or repair lighting fixtures, switches and switchboards
- General roughing in/out and installations
- Decommission and installation of split units
About You
To join our team, you will be a qualified Electrician who has experience in a domestic or commercial environment, has excellent attention to detail and a strength for delivering a high quality service without compromise. The incumbent is a key person within the Team, promoting staff morale while displaying a “can do” and “Team Player” attitude. Additionally, you will provide first-class customer service whilst maintaining a commitment to the safety of yourself and others at all times.
Additionally, you will possess:
- Australian Working Rights
- Ability to pass comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
- VALID C Class License (mandatory)
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology (mandatory)
- VALID WA Electrical License (mandatory)
- VALID LVR and CPR Certificates (mandatory)
- VALID First Aid Certificate (mandatory)
- Construction White Card (mandatory)
- Working at Heights (desirable)
- Hand Tools for the Trade (preferred)
Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:
- Advanced Systems and Technology experience i.e., MS Office, online/web-based Workorder Management Software (Loc8) and Safety, Payroll & Training requirements,
- Ability to work in a Team; be a self-motivator and take instructions.
- Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills.
- Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others, at all times.
