About The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Asset Manager to join our Business Integrity team, overseeing Asset Management across our PPP (Public Private Partnerships) contracts. The position is responsible for providing corporate governance, guidance and support to the operations across the contracts.
This includes ensuring we are meeting our contractual obligations and continuously improving our asset management methodologies to enhance our maintenance service delivery for our valued customers. The role will be required to work out of the office at Hopkins Correctional Facility at least three times per week. Accommodation and travel costs will be covered.
Nature of the position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Ararat, VIC at least three times per week.
Reporting Line: Strategic Reliability Asset Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Asset Management System and assist with roll-outs to operational contracts
- Facilitate training workshops across Australia and New Zealand to the embedded Asset Practitioners
- Build a strong working relationship with embedded resources, undertaking Asset Management activities within operational contracts
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to assist with evidence-based asset management decision-making
- Build a strong working relationship with Business Systems and collaborate on seeking improvement changes to the functionality and outputs of the suite of tools available
- Provide governance as required in the identification, appraisal, optimisation and prioritising of options and the development of effective asset management plans
- Support or advise on how the asset life cycle is managed and planning and controlling the delivery of its main components
- Prepare and present client client-facing presentations to communicate business methodology and objectives in asset management delivery to meet the customers’ requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, preferably, you will have a solid background in engineering, with experience in operational asset management with excellent stakeholder engagement and decision-making capabilities. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA/CPAM) desirable
- Previous experience in operational asset management, and asset data and information management
- Experience in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS, preferably Maximo)
- Proven organisational and teamworking capabilities
- Strong to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Experience developing Asset Management Plans and asset lifecycle planning
