About The Opportunity   

We are seeking a Works Supervisor to ensure service excellence for a large-scale social housing contract by efficiently coordinating, managing, and monitoring subcontractor performance of facility management service delivery for a large-scale social housing contract. This role aims to guarantee the safe, timely, and client-desired delivery of all necessary works, meeting both Programmed Facility Management (PFM) and client quality standards. This permanent, full time role based in Orange NSW, plays a crucial part in the delivery of facility management and contributing to important services for the community.

Nature of the position: Full-Time

Location: Orange, NSW

Reporting Line: Service Delivery Manager

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure professional service delivery meeting client satisfaction.
  • Communicate work updates and commencement dates to customers and service teams.
  • Coordinate works management from planning to completion.
  • Review work status and monitor project expenditure against budgets.
  • Ensure safe, successful, and profitable work outcomes.
  • Assess OH&S resources and requirements before work commencement.
  • Communicate work requirements, plans, and timelines to staff.
  • Oversee timely resolution of site issues and champion safety culture and compliance.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in building trades/services or facilities management (or similar) in a supervisor, management, or planning/ scheduling position. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, natural ability for people engagement and passion for excellent service delivery.

 Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

  • Trade qualification(s) desirable and/or FM experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building and construction- desirable.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint).
