About The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity now exists for a Project Manager to join Programmed’s Facility Management team, focusing predominantly on works in an around Melbourne Airport.
In this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with the established project management framework and overall pipeline of works. A key focus will be the safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of projects – meeting all safety, quality, schedule, budget, and scope requirements.
As a project management subject matter expert, you will also provide guidance, support, and informal coaching to colleagues across project teams. Your contribution will help drive consistent application of project management best practices and support the ongoing development of team capability.
Nature of the position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Melbourne Airport
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Contract management, planning and financial management including preparation of variations, forecasting and extensions of time.
- Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s safety, quality assurance & environmental management system.
- Manage internal and subcontractor resources
- Coordinate deliverables to achieve project time and budget objectives and report effectively
- Manage numerous projects concurrently
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, or similar would be highly regarded
- Prior experience in Project Management Delivery in the Aviation industry or Live Environment space would be highly regarded
- Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, and contracts management functions
- A strong understanding of regulations and compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement experience
- Strong safety focus and commitment to maintain a safe working environment
- Full Driver’s License
