You’ll support the safe delivery of essential on-site services including village management, catering, cleaning and utilities, helping to foster a zero-harm environment for remote workers.

Key responsibilities
The HSEQ Advisor is responsible for providing Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) support to our Village Management Teams. This role plays a key part in maintaining a strong safety, quality, and compliance culture across catering, cleaning and associated support services across multiple Villages. Working closely with site leadership, operational teams, and corporate HSEQ, the role will provide hands-on guidance to ensure legislative compliance, client standards, and company expectations are consistently met in a high-risk, operational remote environment.
Duties include:
- Provide HSEQ support across village management services including catering, housekeeping & accommodation services, industrial cleaning, grounds keeping, waste management & general services.
- Promote and embed a proactive safety and food safety culture across site teams
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
- Facilitate inductions, toolbox talks, and safety meetings for village-based teams
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor HSEQ compliance
- Support implementation and maintenance of HSEQ Management Systems
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders on HSEQ matters
The incumbent is a key person to the Village Management Team and is involved in promoting positive staff morale and a safe work environment, ensuring quality systems, and supporting business and client focus within the PFM business and across the company.
About You

To join our team, the HSEQ Advisor will have demonstrated FIFO site experience with a strong background in mining, remote village, and/or support services environments. Sound knowledge of WA WHS legislation is required, in addition to a solid understanding of food safety standards, solutions-focused approach to risk management and ICAM requirements.
You will possess:
- Australian Working Rights
- VALID Australian C Class Driver’s License
- Ability to pass comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
- Diploma Qualifications in OHS, business management or technical discipline relevant to the area of operation or equivalent work experience
- ICAM or equivalent investigation training
- Cert IV Training & Assessment (desirable)
- Prior experience working in a similar HSEQ role.
- Knowledge of HSEQ legislation, regulations and standards
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation legislation and requirements
- Experience working in industrial environments
- Understanding of external certification processes (ISO: 9001, ISO 45001, ISO: 14001)
- Previous FIFO experience at a Village / Minesite
Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:
- Advanced Systems and Technology experience i.e., MS Office, online/web-based/application Safety & Training requirements
- Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills
- Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others
- Ability to manage a Team; providing hands on coaching and support where required
- Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment
