About the Opportunity

Programmed is seeking a reliable and capable Handyperson to help maintain and support 600–700 residential properties that form a critical part of Woodside’s integrated gas production operations. These properties house essential personnel who keep world-class facilities running, making your work an important part of keeping the community and operations functioning smoothly.

You’ll be joining a high-performing team responsible for delivering day‑to‑day upkeep, repairs, and general maintenance tasks across a large residential portfolio. This is an exciting chance to work in a structured, supportive environment where reliability, safety, and quality workmanship are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • General facility and building maintenance across homes and residential complexes
  • Lock and door repairs, replacements, and adjustments
  • Painting, patching, sanding, and minor refurbishment work
  • Tiling, grouting, and minor bathroom/kitchen touch‑ups
  • Fencing repairs, yard work, and grounds maintenance as required
  • Assisting and supporting other trades across the residential portfolio
  • Completing work safely, efficiently, and in line with Programmed and client standards

 

About You

You’re someone who enjoys hands-on work, variety in your day, and contributing to a team that supports a large residential community. You don’t need formal trade qualifications - your practical skills, reliability, and strong safety mindset are what matter most.

You will ideally have:

  • A valid C Class driver’s licence
  • Experience in general maintenance, handyperson work, or trade support roles
  • Practical repair skills across painting, basic carpentry, locks/doors, tiling, or grounds work
  • The ability to work independently and communicate well within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work
