About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to lead the delivery of integrated catering and cleaning services across premier facilities on the Burrup Peninsula.
This role is ideally suited to candidates with a Village Manager, camp or other residential operations background, with responsibility for leading onsite teams and overseeing contractor performance to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality accommodation services, meals, and hygiene outcomes.
In this critical role, you will lead a dedicated workforce while managing key service providers, ensuring operations support a safe, healthy, and efficient village environment for all personnel.
Based in Karratha (WA), this position offers the opportunity to operate within a dynamic, highly regulated environment that underpins essential energy infrastructure for Western Australia and international markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of residential services operations, including catering and cleaning, across multiple facilities.
- Manage contractor and supplier performance, ensuring alignment to contractual obligations, KPIs, and service standards.
- Oversee workforce planning, including rosters, staffing levels, and team deployment to meet operational demands.
- Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), hygiene, HSE, and permit-to-work systems
- Conduct regular site inspections, proactively addressing service delivery gaps and driving continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and inventory to optimise cost-effective operations
- Promote a strong safety culture through hazard identification, incident management, and ongoing HSE engagement.
- Drive customer-focused outcomes by integrating stakeholder feedback and improving service delivery standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance and broader facility teams to ensure seamless, integrated site operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop onsite teams, fostering a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and high performance.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience managing village, camp, or soft services operations within a resources, facilities management, or remote industrial environment.
You are a hands-on leader with strong commercial awareness, capable of balancing people leadership, service delivery, and operational performance.
Additionally, you will have:
- Experience as a Village Manager, Site Manager, or similar, overseeing catering, cleaning, or accommodation services.
- Strong background managing large, multidisciplinary teams in remote or site-based environments.
- Demonstrated capability in workforce planning, rostering, and mobilisation.
- Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and HSE standards.
- Financial acumen, including budget management and cost control.
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills, with a strong customer-service focus.
- Ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Highly organised with strong planning and time management capability.
- Previous experience in remote village, mining, or industrial settings (highly regarded).
