Programmed Facility Management is seeking an experienced Village Manager to lead operations at our Carlindi site, supporting our valued client, PLS.
Having successfully operated the village for the past six months, Carlindi is entering an exciting new phase. The foundations are in place, the team is growing, and we're looking for a strong operational leader who can build on that momentum, strengthen culture, embed best practice, and help establish Carlindi as a benchmark operation.
Working on an 8:6 roster out of Perth, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a large-scale village operation, lead a diverse workforce, and partner closely with both client stakeholders and site leadership to deliver an exceptional resident experience.

The Opportunity
As Village Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of village operations, overseeing catering, housekeeping, accommodation, retail, utilities and coordination with maintenance teams.
Leading a team of approximately 70-80 employees across multiple departments, you'll play a critical role in driving site culture, supporting leaders, strengthening client relationships and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services.
This role will suit a leader who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, building capability within teams and creating an environment where both employees and residents can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of village services across site
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to departmental managers and supervisors
- Foster a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture
- Drive service delivery standards across catering, housekeeping, accommodation, retail and utilities
- Build strong relationships with PLS stakeholders and site leadership teams
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and contractual requirements
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and implement sustainable solutions
- Support workforce stability, employee engagement and team development
- Ensure village facilities and services consistently meet resident expectations
About You
You're an experienced Village Manager or senior operations leader who understands the unique challenges of FIFO and remote site environments.
You bring a practical leadership style, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to create structure, consistency and accountability across large teams. You're comfortable making decisions, navigating challenges and leading from the front while empowering others to succeed.
You will have:
- Previous experience in a Village Manager or comparable leadership position
- Strong background managing soft services operations in remote or FIFO environments
- Proven experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong client-facing experience and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive culture, performance and operational standards
- Sound understanding of food safety, accommodation services and site compliance requirements
- A hands-on leadership approach with a focus on people and outcomes
- The ability to bring structure, stability and continuous improvement to a growing operation
Requirements
- Full Australian working rights
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Current National Police Clearance
Desirable
- Hospitality or Commercial Cookery qualifications
- Experience using mobilisation and workforce management systems such as INX or PeopleTray
- First Aid, RSA or other site-based certifications
