About The Opportunity
Programmed’s Facility Management team is seeking an experienced Handyperson to join our Woodside contract in Karratha.
This is a great opportunity to join an established maintenance team providing end-to-end maintenance services across our client’s facilities. Working Monday–Friday, you will be responsible for general maintenance, lock and door maintenance, painting, tiling and a range of other general building and facilities maintenance tasks.
Importantly, this position is for Karratha-based candidates only. We are specifically seeking people who live locally in Karratha and are able to work from the site on a Monday–Friday basis.

What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Completing general building and facilities maintenance across the contract
- Undertaking lock and door maintenance and repairs
- Completing painting and tiling works as required
- Carrying out general repairs and maintenance across facilities
- Identifying and reporting defects, maintenance issues and improvement opportunities
- Supporting preventative and reactive maintenance activities
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintaining a professional approach when working across client facilities
- Working collaboratively with the wider maintenance team to meet operational requirements
About You
You will ideally have a trade background within facilities management, with previous experience working across major commercial, industrial or facilities environments.
You will take pride in delivering quality workmanship and have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others.
You will also have:
- Previous site, commercial, industrial or facilities maintenance experience
- Trade background within a facilities management environment highly regarded
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Current White Card
- Strong practical maintenance and problem-solving skills
- A professional approach to the workplace
- The ability to execute work to a high standard
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A strong commitment to quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems
- Full Australian working rights
Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to complete:
- Pre-employment medical
- Drug and alcohol screening
- National Police Clearance
- Relevant site inductions and client requirements
